A truck driver has been issued with two infringement notices after his oversize truck became stuck and caused traffic delays at Woolloomooloo this morning.
Shortly after 9am (Tuesday 23 February 2016), a heavy vehicle measuring over 18 metres long became stuck attempting to turn right into Sir John Young Crescent.
It’s alleged the vehicle attempted to turn contrary to signs indicating that vehicles over 12 metres long were required to take a detour.
The incident caused significant traffic delays whilst the driver removed the truck, which eventually followed the detour and drove off.
